Research Centre for Industrial, Labor and Managerial Economics (CETE)

CETE is a research centre at the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto. It aims at promoting high quality scientific research and advanced training in its specific research fields. Applied research is also supported as a means of fostering co-operation between the University and the community at large.
The centre is organized in three research groups in the fields of Labor Economics, Industrial Organization and Microeconomics and Finance.

CETE actively sponsors advanced courses in microeconomics offered as part of the Masters and Doctoral Programs at the School of Economics, University of Porto. These are high level master-classes, taught by main contributors to the specific field of research at the international level. Tutors are invited to visit the School and the centre and to interact with its researchers and students for the length of their stay.

CETE also contributes to the availability of high standard research facilities, including access to large datasets such as Quadros de Pessoal, Datastream or SABI (Sistema de Análise de Balanços Ibéricos).
