 Course outline:

This 36 hours course is organised as a set of lectures on specialised issues of 20th century economic thought. The time allotted to the lectures on each issue vary from three to six hours, and students are expected to present one essay in a final set of class seminars.

Even though the course is focused upon noticeable features of mainstream economics (micro, macro, and applied economics), key heterodox views are also covered.

Roger Backhouse ( University of Birmingham) is in charge of the course as Visiting Professor.

In addition to this course, the organisers will also co-ordinate seminars on themes pertaining to this field of research.
