Scientific Programme Committee
The Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) is responsible to the Board of Directors (BoD) of the European Regional Section (ERS) of the International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC) for the scientific content of COMPSTAT'2008 Symposium and will, together with the BoD, propose a list of topics to be used in the Call for Papers and to guide the invitation of session organisers for COMPSTAT'2008. The SPC will carry out the following tasks: Preparation of the final list of conference topics and invited session organisers; Selection for publication in the COMPSTAT'2008 proceedings from among those submitted; Referee papers chosen for publication in the COMPSTAT'2008 proceedings; Suggestion of subjects for the invited lecturers and selection of the chairman for each session.
